Damonte Ranch Band Parent Organization Board Meeting
DRHS Band Room, 6-8pm
- Director Updates – Christi Blahnik
- Updates/Ideas
- Working on acquiring a band PR person, possibly to include a stipend from the BPO
- Student sign-ups for craft fair – same as last year, will put up in the band room for physical sign-ups
- Redling for online fundraiser
- Possible battle of the bands with North Valleys?
- Need ETA on tops for winter drumline, Kyle to update
- Need to see if we can get some of the guard parents to be more involved
- Requested feedback from the BPO regarding things that could be improved for the WBA events. The two big issues were restroom availability/porta potties and changing places. Locker room bathrooms had long waits because they were also being used for changing by some schools. Possibility of looking into some kind of pop-up tent with sides that can be used for changing at events.
