The Damonte Ranch Marching Band is a state of the art competitive marching band, as well as one of the most recognized and acclaimed performance ensembles in Nevada. It explores the latest trends in competitive marching band. This ensemble’s membership… brass, woodwind, percussion, and color guard… is drawn from the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble and Color Guard classes.
The Band is the 5-time defending Nevada State Marching Band Champion. In 2015, the Band was a BOA Regional Finalist at the American Canyon Regional (CA); a Western Band Association Grand Championship Finalist at the Western Band Association Championships, held at Fresno State University (CA); and won numerous local Sweepstakes and captions awards throughout Northern Nevada. The Band also played host to the annual Damonte Marching Invitational (DMI), one of the largest marching band competitions in Northern Nevada.
