Here is this week’s BPO news.
FLOWER CARDS: Flower Cards continue to be available for sale. A band parent will be available the last hour of rehearsal on each Thursday, or you can reach out to damonteranchbpo@gmail.com if you would like one of us to meet you at a different time. Each card is $40 and $10 of each card sold goes directly to your student’s band account as a credit toward their fees. FOOTBALL GAME ON FRIDAY, 9/6:
The band will be playing at the football game this coming Friday, September 6th. Your students should be getting the schedule from Mr. Kasper. Please look out for a Band App communication with the volunteer requests for upcoming games.
UNIFORMS:
Freshmen and anyone else not in attendance at Band Camp will still need to be fitted for bibbers and shoes. If your student has not confirmed their shoe size with Mr. Kasper, or has shoes that do not fit, please let us or Mr. Kasper know ASAP.
If you have a returning student who has not returned their garment bag, bibbers, and/or shoes, please have them do so this week so we can get all remaining orders in, and uniforms organized ahead of our first competition on September 28th.
BAND SWAG:
We have opened the Band Swag Shop. If you would like DRHS Band gear, please visit this link to order: https://drhsband.org/spirit-wear/. All items will be made as ordered and will be available for pickup approximately 2 weeks after ordering. We will be continuing to add items to the swag shop, so if anyone has ideas on items you would like to see, please let us know at damonteranchbpo@gmail.com.
BAND FEES:
Our Treasurer is hard at work getting everyone’s past payments into your CutTime accounts. There may still be some discrepancies as the Bookkeeper works through everything that has been submitted the first few weeks of school, so if you believe there to be an error in your CutTime account, please email damonteranchbpo@gmail.com. The next payment of $175 is due this coming Friday, September 6th.
NEXT BPO MEETING:
Please join us for our next BPO meeting on Tuesday, September 10th, at 6:30pm in the Band Room. We hope to see you all there as we discuss plans for our first two competitions!
